Including Inflatable Games, Bounce Houses, and Slides in Your Festive Wedding
Many couples believe that their wedding should reflect their personal style and individual personalities. For some newlyweds, this means pitching the traditional wedding reception in favor of a more festive theme.
If you are looking for a wedding reception theme with a little spark, try incorporating inflatable games, bounce houses, and inflatable slides in your festive wedding celebration. You can select a casino night theme entitled, “Betting on Love,” or decorate with a carnival décor and let guests pretend they are running away with the circus.
Inflatable Games, Bounce Houses, and Slides as a Summer School Fund Raiser
If you have tried to organize a summer school fundraiser for your public or private school, you know how difficult it can be to come up with an exciting theme that will draw the crowds and the donations. Inflatable games, bounce houses, and slides are a sure bet for any summer school fundraiser.
Including a few wet activities like a wet inflatable slide and a water obstacle course is a great way to cool of little folks baking in the summer heat. You can charge admission for access to the inflatable games, bounce houses, and slides in addition to passing the hat among bystanders. Adding a refreshment stand and a raffle are other ideas to help you raise money for your school during the hot summer months.
Inflatable games, bounce houses, and slides are versatile entertainment for a wide variety of activities. They provide hours of fun for guests of all ages and come in a multitude of themes to match any whimsical themed party.

Sumo Suits… People love these things.
Just yesterday we brought 2 suits and a padded sumo wrestling mat to a local corporate event in Beaverton, Oregon. Like any typical event, we showed up with the suits and the client was thrilled to see us- and even more excited to see the huge padded suits that she had arranged for her co-workers to climb inside.

The sumo game is a great ice breaker for any special event. We have used this game for all kinds of corporate meetings and events as well as for church youth groups, carnivals, and countless other gatherings.

Selecting fun birthday party games for kids is easy with a few starter ideas. Choosing fun birthday party games for kids begins with determining a theme for your child’s birthday party.
Most children have an area of interest that changes from year to year. Children often enjoy horses, princesses, trains, or construction equipment. Popular superheroes and cartoon characters are also a great option for birthday themes.
Horse Themed Fun Birthday Games for Kids
If your child loves horses, these birthday party games will be a big hit.
*Pin the tail on the horse is a given at any horse-themed birthday party.
*You can also hold an adapted three-legged race where two children work together to form the front and rear end of a horse. Add a tail and a mane made of yarn for added fun. The first pair of children to make their way through an obstacle course wins.
*Blindfold the children and let them use finger paints to create a portrait of a horse. Award prizes for the best portrait, the silliest horse, and the birthday child’s favorite horse portrait.
Princess Themed Fun Birthday Party Games for Kids
Birthday party games for a princess-loving child can include princes as well to help male guests feel included.
*Allow children to decorate their own construction paper crowns for the party.
*Hire a court jester to entertain the children.
*Provide props so guests can dress as princesses and knights in shining armor to act out a rescue scene in the backyard.
*Mix up portions of well-known fairy tales about princesses, like Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, and Snow White. Write the scenes out on cards and allow one child to read each card.
Print large numbers on each card and have the children write down each number under the proper fairy tale title. The child with the most sequences correct wins a prize.
Train Themed Fun Birthday Party Games for Kids
Train themed birthday parties are fun for both children and adults. Try out these party game ideas for kids of all ages.
*Play musical chairs but use a recording of a train chugging along the tracks instead of music.
*Have the party guests form a human train and play follow the leader.
*Use a train-shaped piñata filled with candy and small toys as party favors for the guests.
Fun Birthday Party Games for Kids Who Love Construction Equipment
Dump trucks and diggers fascinate both boys and girls. These fun birthday party game ideas work well for a party with a construction equipment theme.
*Bury party favors in a sand box and allow guests to dig for favors with shovels and buckets.
*Serve birthday cake and ice cream in small plastic dump trucks instead of bowls.
*Hand out toy hard hats as party hats and print numbers on the inside of each hat. Select a few numbers to receive special door prizes.
* Play bingo on oversized cards with toy trucks and diggers as bingo chips. The winner must shout, “Haulin’ Dirt” instead of bingo.
Most themed parties can be adapted to include a few fun birthday party games for kids and adults. A little imagination and creativity combined with a few starter ideas like these can get your kid’s birthday party off to a great start.

Bounce house rentals are popular at birthday parties and special events. As with all play equipment, bounce houses have a special set of rules and regulations to keep children safe during play. This checklist will help you ensure that your bounce house rental is safe for children.
During the Set up of the Bounce House
The bounce house rental company should provide proof of insurance, written and verbal instructions on the operation of the bounce house, and guidelines for occupancy limits for each bounce house rented.
A protective tarp should cover the ground under the bounce house to prevent sharp objects from puncturing the bounce house. If no tarp is used, be sure to clear all debris from the area where the bounce house will be set up.
The bounce house must be set up on flat, dry ground.
The bounce house should be set up away from pets, swimming pools, and trees.
All bounce houses should be weighted or staked down during operation.
A fire extinguisher should be placed near the blower for each bounce house in case overheating occurs.
During Bounce House Play
Do not allow children to perform flips, somersaults or engage in rough play inside the bounce house.
Limit the number of children in a bounce house according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
An adult should group children according to size during play. Older children bouncing with smaller children could result in injuries.
Never leave the bounce house unattended. An adult must be present at all times. Some bounce house rental companies offer to staff bounce houses if an adult is not able to supervise the play.
Never operate a bounce house during inclement weather.
Remove children from the bounce house once they tire to reduce the risk of injury.
Do not allow children to rock the bounce house from side to side. This could result in tipping over and cause serious injuries.
If a bounce house deflates, remove playing children at once to prevent injury.
Shoes, glasses, jewelry (especial facial jewelry), and any sharp objects should be removed before children are allowed inside the bounce house to prevent punctures to the bounce house and injuries.
Bounce house rentals can provide fun and safe entertainment for children with proper supervision and adherence to safety guidelines.

An important part of event planning is including fun party games for everyone. This can be especially challenging if your event consists of guests of differing backgrounds and a wide age range. Despair not however, for with a bit of creativity and ingenuity, you too can create fun party games for everyone at your next event.
Fun Party Games for Everyone
Some event planners choose to include a number of age appropriate party games for each age group. The trick to making each party game enjoyable for everyone is to select games that are enjoyable for spectators as well as participants. This can be achieved by dividing spectators into two groups. Each group cheers for its own participant and the winning team receives a special prize or privilege. Using this method, even a game of musical chairs becomes enjoyable for everyone.
Another great way to make your party games fun for everyone is to create teams comprised of members representing various ages and abilities. You can then pit the teams against each other in a triathlon of games that include physical challenges, knowledge challenges, and the willingness to perform in front of others. Teens can compete in the physical challenges, older adults can complete the knowledge challenges, and younger children can perform for the crowd to win the game. You can also appoint a group of spectators who opt out of the completion as judges for each game. This keeps everyone involved and engaged in the event.
Inflatable Games
Inflatable games are a great way to create fun party games for everyone with little effort. Simply rent your favorite inflatable games for the event and encourage guests to take part. Competitive inflatable games like basketball, obstacle courses, and jousting matches are fun for participants and spectators alike.
Incorporating Food into Fun Party Games for Everyone
Incorporating food into party games is another way to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable time. Contests for making the wackiest food sculpture, the best tasting sandwich, or the most creative cookie decorations are enjoyable for the contestants who are creating the food and for those who receiving the edible creations.
No matter what type of fun party games you choose, if you infuse your games with an amusing and competitive spirit, every party guest will go home happy. Books of party games are available at your local library to give you a few starter ideas, but the best games are those that are adapted to be unique and enjoyable.

Inflatable games have come a long way from that brightly colored beach ball that showed up at family picnics at vacations at the beach. Today, the large selection of inflatable games available for family picnics, birthday parties and corporate events is nearly endless!
Inflatable Games for Kids
Bounce Houses
Inflatable games for children include the ever-popular bounce houses. These air filled vinyl rooms allow kids to romp and jump to their heart’s content without fear of hitting any solid objects. As long as the kids do not bounce into each other, these bounce houses provide hours of safe bouncing entertainment. The original bounce house was called the moonwalk, because the bouncy steps taken inside were similar to the astronauts’ low-gravity walk on the moon.
Bounce houses come in many different themed characters. Children can bounce on the belly of a dragon or a Dalmatian firefighter. Tigers, castles, and even cartoon characters like Sponge Bob, Cinderella, and Winnie Pooh all adorn the exteriors of bounce houses.
Giant Slides
Giant inflatable slides are popular inflatable games because they are suitable for even the most timid toddlers all the way up to the kid-at-heart. Giant slides come in various sizes and colors. Some slides offer the option to add water to the sliding surface for added fun in hot weather.
Inflatable Games for Adults and Older Children
Obstacle Courses
Inflatable games suitable for all ages include the inflatable obstacle course. These courses vary in type, but they all bring a healthy amount of fun and competition to any gathering. Variations on the obstacle course include water tag, jousting, bungee runs, Velcro walls, sumo wrestling, and inflatable mazes.
Inflatable Sports Games
Inflatable sports games are a popular choice for any type of get together. Inflatable baseball, fast pitch, basketball, and even inflatable dunk tanks all offer hours of wholesome enjoyment for every member of your party.
Inflatable Games
Some inflatable games bring new life to old favorites, such as giant inflatable Twister, the inflatable kid wash, the slip-n-slide, and the racecar speed track race.
Inflatable Games for Adults
Inflatable games for adults include inflatable over-sized slot machines, inflatable boxing rings, and rock walls combined with trust-building activities like rope courses and inflatable obstacles.
Inflatable games add instant fun to any gathering, party, or corporate event. Inflatable games are suitable for all ages and provide hours of fun and entertainment. Specially designed inflatable games for adults are used as team-building activities. Other types of inflatable games supply enjoyment for company picnics, family reunions, birthday parties, and celebrations.

Inflatable games are a fun and interesting alternative to tired, over-used fundraisers. Sponsoring an inflatable games night can fulfill your organization’s fundraising goals for the entire year if handled properly.
Tips for Planning an Inflatable Games Fundraiser
1. Select various activities suitable for different age ranges.
2. Include several inflatable game choices for toddlers and small children that will allow parents to participate as well. Bounce houses and giant slides are popular activities.
3. Include a competitive inflatable game, such as an obstacle course and man that game with an outgoing person who will encourage rivalries and repeat customers.
4. Offer helium balloons and refreshments for sale during the activities.
5. Advertise your inflatable games night well in advance. Pass out fliers, place an ad in the local newspaper. Contact local churches, day cares and pre-schools and offer a discount on tickets for mentioning where a customer heard about your event. This allows you to collect information about what marketing venues brought in the most business. This provides input for planning next year’s fundraiser.
6. Create a fun and festive environment by involving outgoing ticket takers and booth operators.
7. Consider hiring a live band to draw in passers-by and music lovers.
8. Provide plenty of organized parking for your event and notify local police of your plans.
9. Check with city hall to obtain any permits necessary for holding a carnival-type fundraiser.
10. Consider selecting a theme for your inflatable games fundraiser. You can select themes such as a day at the beach, popular Disney or cartoon characters, Fantasyland, outer space, alien invasion, the royal kingdom, or Mexican fiesta. The possibilities are endless!
11. Set out donation boxes with a written explanation of where the proceeds will go. This encourages observers to donate to your cause.
12. Post rules clearly. This provides unambiguous behavioral guidelines to help keep everyone safe.
13. Use egg timers or stopwatches to determine when an activity is over.
14. If you charge $1 per game or ride, you will need at least $20 in one-dollar bills for each game attendant to begin the night. You can avoid this problem by selling paper tickets at a central ticket booth if you prefer to have only one or two people handling the proceeds.
15. Be sure to thank each patron personally for supporting your cause.
Inflatable games make money because they are fun for people of all ages. Keep your fundraiser safe and legal by following local laws and guidelines for public events and prepare for an evening of profitable entertainment.
